Star Trek: The New Frontiers is an online RPG set in the Star Trek universe.
This is an alternate universe that takes place post-Picard season 3. What makes it an AU is that instead of the Enterprise-F being decommissioned, she underwent a refit.
The story now begins as the U.S.S. Enterprise-F prepares to return to active duty.
We do this because we love and respect the material, and of course Star Trek as a whole. Plus we're in this for the most important part when a person role plays, the fun.
This game is rated "R", with some situations possibly boarding on "NC-17"

The bridge of the USS Emmett Till hummed with the familiar rhythm of interstellar travel. Captain Rios, a seasoned officer with a warm smile and a twinkle in his eye, leaned back in his command chair, sipping from a steaming mug. The ship was currently en route to Spacedock-1, carrying a complement of Starfleet personnel and civilian passengers.
Suddenly, the comm panel chirped, breaking the tranquil atmosphere.

Jackson had responded to Enlisted Quarters for a Security Officer that didn't show up for shift. The enlisted man gotten bad news from home. He has made hooch. Based on the smell, he had drank it, spilled some on himself, and pissed himself. "Computer Override Door. Authority Walker, Jackson." The door opened and the smell hit him. "Oh shit. Motherfucker." The corridors aboard the newly-refitted USS Enterprise-F were bustling with activity. Crew members, both new and familiar (mainly new), hurry about and engage in various tasks to prepare for the ship's upcoming mission. Captain Tom Chandler stands in the center of the bridge, overseeing the final preparations with a sense of quiet determination.

Walker unloaded his stuff into his quarters and immediately. He was a duel major at the academy for Forensic Sciences/Investigation and Tactical Engineering. When he got assigned to Enterprise, it was assumed that he had only gotten the post out of favoritism. He, like other Walkers, was only in competition with himself and his family. His Sister was an expert in Androids and Synthezoids and much smarter than him, so he had to work harder. He had graduated with honors.
