Welcome to the Star Trek: The New Frontiers!
Star Trek: The New Frontiers is an online RPG set in the Star Trek universe.
This is an alternate universe that takes place post-Picard season 3. What makes it an AU is that instead of the Enterprise-F being decommissioned, she underwent a refit.
The story now begins as the U.S.S. Enterprise-F prepares to return to active duty.
We do this because we love and respect the material, and of course Star Trek as a whole. Plus we're in this for the most important part when a person role plays, the fun.
This game is rated "R", with some situations possibly boarding on "NC-17"

The subspace feed flares to life on the PADD, the aggressively spinning, holographic logo of The Galaxy Wire shattering into a chaotic tactical map of the Beta Quadrant. The camera snaps violently to the anchor desk, zooming in too close on the flushed, heavily ridged face of Korak. The Tellarite pundit slams a padd onto his desk, glaring into the lens.
"You call this a press release?" Korak barks, his voice a gravelly sneer. "I call it targ manure! Starfleet Command wants you to go to sleep tonight believing the frontier is perfectly safe. They just issued a statement claiming…

The PADD screen dissolves into a wash of calming cerulean and silver. The elegant, interconnected rings of the Interstellar News Network logo rotate gracefully, accompanied by a soft, polyphonic chime. The feed transitions to a softly lit, cosmopolitan studio overlooking the Federation Council complex in Paris. Seated at a transparent desk is Koren Tor, a Trill anchor wearing a simple, elegant civilian drape.
"Peace and long life to all of you joining us across the Federation," Koren begins, her voice gentle but carrying a profound weight. "Tonight, our thoughts are with the people of the Beta Quadrant, specifically the brave…

The screen of the PADD transitioned perfectly, the raw static of subspace chatter instantly replaced by the crisp, immaculate silver and deep blue crest of the Federation News Service. A gentle, orchestral chime played—the signature, reassuring sound that had preceded FNS broadcasts across the core worlds for over a century.
The visual feed faded in on a sleek, minimalist studio overlooking San Francisco Bay, the golden arches of the bridge gleaming in the background through a massive crystalline window. Seated at a polished desk was Arthur Sterling, a veteran human broadcaster whose silver hair, sharp jawline, and perfectly tailored civilian…

Mission: Rebirth

The Enterprise-F remains in a defensive posture over P-463. My entire senior staff, as well as the medical team, is now back on board the ship after having a shift change at the facility below. Commander Targaria’s initial psionic contact has provided us with a staggering revelation: the multiversal incursions are linked to a network of seven reality-stabilization points—'Anchors'—that maintain the structural integrity of our dimension. We have identified the first of these focal points within the Paulson Nebula. The data suggests this Anchor is drifting, and if it is not realigned, the dimensional collapse will become irreversible. I have…

Mission: Rebirth

The heavy silence in the ancient chamber was deafening after Admiral Janeway's chilling broadcast, broken only by the throbbing hum of the pillars and the distant, tinny wail of the Enterprise-F's alarms, audible even through Captain Chandler's comm badge. The flickering red zones on the holographic galactic map now screamed not of a failing system, but of a galaxy being devoured. Starfleet was blind, their weapons proving useless against whatever came through the tears in reality. Janeway's report had painted a grim picture: physical vessels, seemingly made of light, capable of dissolving hulls and bypassing shields, yet undeniably ships, carrying…

The bridge of the USS Emmett Till hummed with the familiar rhythm of interstellar travel. Captain Rios, a seasoned officer with a warm smile and a twinkle in his eye, leaned back in his command chair, sipping from a steaming mug. The ship was currently en route to Spacedock-1, carrying a complement of Starfleet personnel and civilian passengers.
Suddenly, the comm panel chirped, breaking the tranquil atmosphere.
"Captain," Lieutenant Torres, the ship's communications officer, announced, "we're receiving a priority message from Starfleet Command."
Rios set his mug down and straightened in his chair. "On screen, Lieutenant."
The viewscreen flickered to…

Jackson had responded to Enlisted Quarters for a Security Officer that didn't show up for shift. The enlisted man gotten bad news from home. He has made hooch. Based on the smell, he had drank it, spilled some on himself, and pissed himself. "Computer Override Door. Authority Walker, Jackson." The door opened and the smell hit him. "Oh shit. Motherfucker." The crewman was asleep at the table, slumped over. Jackson checked him for breath. There was life, so he smacked him the face lightly. "Come on. We are going to sickbay."
The crewman looked at him, "I don't wanna go…

Mission: Rebirth

The corridors aboard the newly-refitted USS Enterprise-F were bustling with activity. Crew members, both new and familiar (mainly new), hurry about and engage in various tasks to prepare for the ship's upcoming mission. Captain Tom Chandler stands in the center of the bridge, overseeing the final preparations with a sense of quiet determination.
A bright light shines into his face as he gives an annoyed look at the floating camera with a small bank of lights attached to it. There are four JOURNALISTS clustered around the command station on the bridge. One is associated with the camera, the others use…
